About Us
Miller & Sons Drilling Company is owned and operated by Bruce Miller and his wife Jan. Bruce has been drilling since he was 14 years old. He learned drilling from his father on a cable tool rig and he has been drilling ever since.
Over the last 48 years Bruce has drilled conventional mud and air rotary, reverse rotary, core drilling, mineral exploration, geothermal, gas and oil, municipal wells, and large diameter irrigation wells. His vast drilling experience in almost every state west of Nebraska offers a wide range of knowledge and expertise to his customers.
We are fortunate to have our sons J.R. and Christopher with us as excellent drillers and drilling crew managers. J.R. began working as a paid crew member on our drilling projects at the very young age of 13. Christopher learned the drilling business by staying in his father’s “hip pocket” since he was 3 years old. Today he is an accomplished driller and leads our crews with efficiency and hard work.
